Fisher Catholic Irish (Lancaster, OH) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Berne Union Rockets (Sugar Grove, OH), 3-0 in a league outing.

The Irish now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Harvest Prep for a Mid-State - Cardinal outing on Tuesday, September 16.

With the loss, Berne Union drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH) to play the Buckeyes in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. The Buckeyes come into the outing with a record of 7-5. Nelsonville-York won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Wellston (Wellston, OH)
