In Thursday's league match, the Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL) volleyball squad tipped the host Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Irish battle the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Peoria Notre Dame will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 9-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL).
