The Ridgemont Golden Gophers volleyball squad (Mount Victory, OH), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH)

With the win, Elgin improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Comets host Wynford (Bucyrus, OH) to encounter the Royals in a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. The Royals enter the contest with a record of 4-5. Wynford lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Carey (Carey, OH)

Next, the Golden Gophers meet the Arlington Red Devils (Arlington, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. Ridgemont will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Red Devils enter the contest with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH).
