Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Farrell overwhelmed by Wilmington
September 11, 2025: New Wilmington, PA 16142 Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Wilmington improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Greyhounds host Mercer (Mercer, PA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Mercer won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA)
Next, the Steelers play the Reynolds Raiders (Greenville, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Farrell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA).
