Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Prairie City-Monroe upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Perry (Perry, IA) to meet the Bluejays in a Heart of Iowa challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Perry lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against West Marshall (State Center, IA)

Next, the Eagles meet the Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Saydel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
