Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Tupelo advances its record to 13-10 on the season. The Golden Wave travel to New Hope (Columbus, MS) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 6-17. New Hope won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Caledonia (Caledonia, MS)

With the loss, Ripley drops to 14-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Alcorn Central (Glen, MS) to play the Bears in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16.
