September 11, 2025: Avon, MS 38723 The Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS) volleyball were victorious over the visiting Yazoo City Indians (Yazoo City, MS), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they host South Delta for a Class 1A Region 6 bout on Tuesday, September 16. Riverside will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to O'Bannon (Greenville, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Yazoo City drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Greenwood (Greenwood, MS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Class 4A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Greenwood won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Louisville (Louisville, MS)
