Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) and the host Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA), observed Slippery Rock's volleyball team hold off Saegertown by a count of 3-2.

The Rockets (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, PA). The Trojans enter the District 10 Region 3 battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Greenville tipped West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
