Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) and the visiting Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA), witnessed Oconee County's softball squad tip Elbert County by a count of 10-6.

The Warriors now sport a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Monroe Area for a 3A Region 8 match on Tuesday, September 13. Oconee County will face a Purple Hurricanes squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Morgan County (Madison, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 6-7.
