Georgia High School Softball - Strong Rock Christian loses to Pike County
September 12, 2022: Locust Grove, GA 30248 The Pike County Pirates softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Strong Rock Christian Patriots to 5 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Pike County improves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Pirates host Jackson (Jackson, GA) to clash with the Red Devils in a 3A Region 2 game on Tuesday, September 13. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 8-3. Jackson lost 8-0 in their recent non-league game against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA)
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA) in a GIAA 5AAA game, on Thursday, September 15. Strong Rock Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 3-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA).
