September 12, 2023: High Point, NC 27265 The Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans topped the host Phoenix Academy Firebirds volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Trojans now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove for a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. Wesleyan Christian Academy will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 13-0.
The Firebirds (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Villains enter the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Bishop McGuinness was knocked off by Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
