September 12, 2023: Sesser, IL 62884 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Christopher Bearcats (Christopher, IL) and the host Sesser-Valier Red Devils (Sesser, IL), saw Christopher's volleyball squad nip Sesser-Valier by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Christopher upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Webber (Bluford, IL) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-2.
The Red Devils now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Trico for a Black Diamond West bout on Thursday, September 14. Sesser-Valier will play a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Johnston City (Johnston City, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-2.
