September 12, 2023: Cleveland, AL 35049 The Holly Pond Broncos volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cleveland Panthers to 0 in the Broncos non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Broncos now have a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Locust Fork for a 2A Area 12 game on Thursday, September 14. Holly Pond will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Southeastern (Remlap, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 5-9.
The Panthers (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Cold Springs (Bremen, AL). The Eagles enter the 2A Area 12 game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Cold Springs gained a win over Oakman (Oakman, AL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
