Virginia High School Volleyball - Highland tips Craig County
September 12, 2023: Monterey, VA 24465 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Highland Rams (Monterey, VA) and the visiting Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA), saw Highland's volleyball squad nip Craig County by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Rams host Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Bath County won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA)
The Rockets now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Narrows for a Pioneer bout on Thursday, September 14. Craig County will play a Green Waves squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Green Waves record now stands at 0-5.
