September 12, 2023: Town Creek, AL 35672 The Hatton Hornets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Tharptown Wildcats to 1 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now have a 3-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington for a 2A Area 15 game on Thursday, September 14. Hatton will meet a Golden Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wilson (Florence, AL). The Golden Bears record now stands at 14-6.
The Wildcats (4-17) will now prepare for their game against Red Bay (Red Bay, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 10-11 record. In their last game, Red Bay gained a win over Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
