The McAllen Bulldogs topped the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 25-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vela for a 5A Region IV District 31 test on Saturday, September 16. McAllen will confront a Sabercats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX). The Sabercats record now stands at 18-13.
The Javelinas (0-16) will now prepare for their test against Pioneer (Mission, TX). The Diamondbacks enter the 5A Region IV District 31 test with a 28-3 record. In their last test, Pioneer gained a win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial (Alamo, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
