The Forrest Rockets were victorious over the host Cannon County Lions football team by a score of 28-12 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Rockets face the White House-Heritage Patriots (White House, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Forrest will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 42-6 league win over Cheatham County Central (Ashland City, TN).
