September 12, 2024: Troy, NC 27371 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Anson Bearcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Montgomery Central Timberwolves.
The Bearcats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, West Stanly beat Piedmont (Monroe, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Timberwolves meet the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Montgomery Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to North Davidson (Lexington, NC).
