Fans at Thursday's league contest between the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), observed South Mecklenburg's volleyball team top Ballantyne Ridge by a tally of 3-0.

The Sabres (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs enter the So Meck 4A contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Myers Park beat Berry (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.
