September 12, 2024: Jesup, GA 31545 The New Hampstead Phoenix edged the host Wayne County Yellow Jackets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Phoenix face the Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) in a 4A Area 1 game, on Thursday, September 12. New Hampstead will attempt to advance on its 12-9 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 9-12 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Veterans (Kathleen, GA).
The Yellow Jackets (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Liberty County (Hinesville, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 9-10 record.
