September 12, 2025: Carrizozo, NM 88301 El Paso Leadership Academy East Leaders (El Paso, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM), 71-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, El Paso Leadership Academy East improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Leaders travel to Balmorhea (Balmorhea, TX) to play the Bears in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Balmorhea won 58-12 in their recent non-league battle against Marfa (Marfa, TX)
The Grizzlies now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Mountainair for a 6-Man District 2 (6 Man) match on Friday, September 26.
