The Phoenix Christian Cougars walloped the host Desert Star football team by a score of 46-7 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Cruz Valley for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Phoenix Christian will meet a Dust Devils squad coming off a 62-0 non-league win over Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ). The Dust Devils record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Desert Star drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The host Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ) to meet the Wolves in a 2A Metro 4 test on Thursday, September 18. The Wolves enter the game with a record of 2-2. Mountainside lost 49-6 in their recent league game against Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ)
