The Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) football tipped the visiting Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA), 35-34 in Friday's league outing.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bryan County for a A D2 Region 3 outing on Friday, September 19. Emanuel County Institute will clash with a Redskins squad coming off a 42-35 league win over Portal (Portal, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Jenkins County drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The War eagles host Claxton (Claxton, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a A D2 Region 3 outing on Friday, September 19. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 0-4. Claxton lost 22-14 in their recent league outing against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA)
