California High School Football - Fairfield sneaks past Rodriguez

September 12, 2025: Fairfield, CA 94533

The Fairfield Falcons football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Rodriguez Mustangs to 14 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Enterprise for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Fairfield will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 57-23 non-league loss to Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Rodriguez drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Vanden (Fairfield, CA) to meet the Vikings in a Monticello Empire League test on Friday, September 19. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 3-1. Vanden lost 16-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Campolindo (Moraga, CA)
