September 12, 2025: Faribault, MN 55021 Winona Winhawks (Winona, MN) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Faribault Falcons (Faribault, MN), 33-8 in a league match.
The Winhawks (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Stewartville was beaten by Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN), 21-18, in a non-league battle.
The Falcons now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Byron for a Skyway - Brass battle on Friday, September 19. Faribault will play a Bears team coming off a 42-6 non-league win over Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN). The Bears record now stands at 3-0.
