New Jersey High School Football - Northern Highlands tops Hackensack
September 12, 2025: Allendale, NJ 07401 The Northern Highlands Highlanders were winner over the visiting Hackensack Comets football squad by a margin of 36-7 in Friday's league test.
The Highlanders now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pascack Valley for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Northern Highlands will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 29-26 league win over Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Hackensack drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Comets host Eastside (Paterson, NJ) to meet the Ghosts in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 19. The Ghosts enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Eastside lost 56-14 in their recent league challenge against Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ)
