The South Elgin Storm walloped the visiting Larkin Royals football team by a score of 55-13 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Storm play the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) in a UpState 8 - West challenge, on Friday, September 19. South Elgin will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Blackhawks go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 49-16 league win over Elgin (Elgin, IL).

The Royals (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Aurora East (Aurora, IL). The Tomcats come into the UpState 8 - West test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Aurora East was overwhelmed by Streamwood (Streamwood, IL), 27-7, in a league test.
