September 12, 2025: Stanwood, IA 52337 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA) and the host North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), witnessed Wapsie Valley's football squad wallop North Cedar by a count of 61-7.
The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Midland (Wyoming, IA). The Eagles go into the A District 4 battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Midland walloped East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA), 36-20, in a league battle.
The Knights now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host East Buchanan for a A District 4 battle on Friday, September 19. North Cedar will encounter a Buccaneers team coming off a 36-20 league loss to Midland (Wyoming, IA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-2.
