Northview Academy Cougars (Kodak, TN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN), 28-8 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Northview Academy improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Cougars host Grainger (Rutledge, TN) to meet the Grizzlies in a 4A Region 1 match on Friday, September 19. The Grizzlies come into the match with a record of 2-2. Grainger lost 60-30 in their recent league match against Cherokee (Rogersville, TN)

Coming up next, the Tigers meet the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders (Gatlinburg, TN) in a 3A Region 1 match, on Friday, September 19. Pigeon Forge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Highlanders come into the match with a 4-0 record after their 50-18 non-league win over Fulton (Knoxville, TN).
