Pennington Tigers (Blountsville, AL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Ohatchee Indians (Ohatchee, AL), 42-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Pennington advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Tigers host Locust Fork (Locust Fork, AL) to play the Hornets in a 3A Region 6 battle on Friday, September 19. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 1-3. Locust Fork lost 53-7 in their recent league battle against Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL)

The Indians now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Weaver for a 3A Region 6 match on Friday, September 19. Ohatchee will confront a Bearcats squad coming off a 28-24 league win over Saks (Anniston, AL). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-2.
