North Carolina High School Football - Scotland prevails Overhills

September 12, 2025: Laurinburg, NC 28352

In Friday's non-league match, the host Scotland Fighting Scots football squad scored a good 49-26 triumph over the Overhills Jaguars.

With the win, Scotland improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Fighting Scots travel to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 3-1. Pinecrest won 41-13 in their recent non-league challenge against South View (Hope Mills, NC)

The Jaguars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, South View lost by Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 41-13, in a non-league challenge.
