The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) and the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), saw Taft's football team gain a win over Verdugo Hills by a final score of 41-13.

With the win, Taft advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Toreadors host Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, September 19. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-2. Eagle Rock won 35-10 in their recent non-league match against Bell (Bell, CA)

Coming up next, the Dons confront the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) in a East Valley battle, on Thursday, September 18. Verdugo Hills will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 42-6 non-league loss to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA).
