The Monroe Vikings football team (North Hills, CA), was crushed 46-0 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA)

With the win, Taft advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Toreadors host Arleta (Arleta, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Arleta lost 70-37 in their recent non-league contest against Cleveland (Reseda, CA)

Coming up next, the Vikings confront the Belmont Sentinels (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Monroe will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Sentinels go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 0-0 non-league West Adams (Los Angeles, CA).
