The Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) football were winner over the host Chatsworth Chancellors (Chatsworth, CA), 40-18 in Friday's league outing.

The Toreadors now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Birmingham for a West Valley outing on Friday, October 17. Taft will face a Patriots team coming off a 49-21 league win over Cleveland (Reseda, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-3.

The Chancellors (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Highlanders enter the West Valley game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Granada Hills Charter fell by El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA), 28-8, in a league game.
