September 12, 2025: Medford, MA 02155 Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Malden Golden Tornados (Malden, MA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Medford moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Everett (Everett, MA) to clash with the Crimson Tide in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Crimson Tide come into the test with a record of 1-0.
The Golden Tornados now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Somerville for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 17. Malden will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Revere (Revere, MA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-1.
