Maryland High School Soccer - Calvary Christian Academy toppled by Holly Grove Christian
September 12, 2025: Westover, MD 21871 Holly Grove Christian Eagles (Westover, MD) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Calvary Christian Academy LIONS (Dover, DE), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Holly Grove Christian moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE) to meet the Ravens in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Ravens come into the test with a record of 1-2.
The LIONS now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Chestertown Christian Academy for a Delaware Valley Christian Athletic test on Monday, September 15. Calvary Christian Academy will meet a Patriots team coming off a 1-1 league Faith Baptist School (Salisbury, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.
