Next up, the Eagles confront the Wayne Christian Academy Eagle (Jesup, GA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 13. Athens Christian will attempt to advance on its 9-14 season record. The Eagle enter the game with a 2-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Crossroads Christian Academy (Blackshear, GA).
The Eagles (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Appling Christian Academy (Baxley, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 9-1 record. In their last bout, Appling Christian Academy nipped Brunswick Christian Academy (Brunswick, GA), 2-0, in a league bout.
