September 12, 2025: Rutledge, TN 37861 Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Blazer advances its record to 20-2 on the season. The Tomcats travel to Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 16-5. Sale Creek won 3-1 in their recent league test against Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN)
The Grizzlies now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkersburg for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Grainger will play a Big Reds team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Big Reds record now stands at 2-6.
