In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Blazer Tomcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Parkersburg Big Reds.

The Tomcats (19-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN). The Golden Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Mount Juliet beat Hendersonville (Hendersonville, TN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Big Reds face the Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 15. Parkersburg will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Marietta (Marietta, OH).
