Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV) and the host Del Sol Dragons (Las Vegas, NV), saw Canyon Springs's volleyball squad nudge Del Sol by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Canyon Springs improves its record to 2-9 on the season. The Pioneers host Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV) to encounter the Firehawks in a 4A Southern - Sky battle on Monday, September 15. The Firehawks go into the battle with a record of 3-11. Eldorado lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV)

The Dragons now own a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Career Tech for a 4A Southern - Lake battle on Wednesday, September 17. Del Sol will encounter a Roadrunners squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Green Valley (Henderson, NV). The Roadrunners record now stands at 14-9.
