Texas High School Volleyball - Groveton over New Waverly

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Groveton Indians volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the New Waverly Bulldogs.

With the win, Groveton advances its record to 14-13 on the season. The Indians host Onalaska (Onalaska, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 11-10. Onalaska won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX)

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Richards for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. New Waverly will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Iola (Iola, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-6.
