Colorado High School Volleyball - Primero over La Veta

In Friday's league challenge, the host Primero Bulldogs volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the La Veta Redhawks.

With the win, Primero improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Des Moines (Des Moines, NM) to face the Demons in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Demons go into the test with a record of 4-2. Des Moines won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Clayton (Clayton, NM)

The Redhawks now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sangre de Cristo for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 19. La Veta will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cheraw (Cheraw, CO). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-7.
