The New Paltz Huguenots volleyball squad (New Paltz, NY), was defeated 3-1 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY)

With the win, Spackenkill improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Dover (Dover Plains, NY) to meet the Dragons in a MHAL challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Dover won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Ellenville (Ellenville, NY)

Next, the Huguenots meet the Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY) in a MHAL test, on Tuesday, September 16. New Paltz will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
