September 13, 2022: Portland, ME 04102 The Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME) soccer bounced the visiting Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME), 7-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the victory, Waynflete moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Flyers travel to Richmond (Richmond, ME) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 15. The Bobcats enter the bout with a record of 3-1. Richmond won 8-2 in their recent league bout against Valley (Bingham, ME)
In their next game, the Hawks battle the St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 16. Sacopee Valley will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Saints enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 1-0 league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME).
