Georgia High School Softball - Wilcox County bounces Turner County
September 13, 2022: Rochelle, GA 31079 Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their softball team thwart the visiting Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA), 18-0 in a non-league contest.
With the triumph, Wilcox County moves its record to 15-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA) to battle the Red Devils in a 1A D-II Region 4 challenge on Thursday, September 15. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 6-7. Hawkinsville won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Schley County (Ellaville, GA)
With the loss, Turner County falls to 2-10 on the year. The Titans host Charlton County (Folkston, GA) to play the Indians in a 1A D-II Region 2 contest on Thursday, September 15. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 4-5. Charlton County won 12-0 in their recent league outing against Echols County (Statenville, GA)
