Georgia High School Softball - Bowdon bounces Cedartown
September 13, 2023: Cedartown, GA 30125 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA) and the host Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA), witnessed Bowdon's softball squad tip Cedartown by a count of 7-3.
The Red Devils now sport a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Mt. Zion for a 1A D-II Region 7 match on Thursday, September 14. Bowdon will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-14.
With the loss, Cedartown moves to 7-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA) to meet the Phoenix in a 4A Region 7 match on Thursday, September 14. The Phoenix go into the match with a record of 11-5. Sonoraville won 5-2 in their recent league match against Cedartown (Cedartown, GA)
