September 13, 2023: Lutcher, LA 70071 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) and the visiting St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA), saw Lutcher's volleyball squad beat St. Charles Catholic by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Lutcher upgrades its record to 6-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Ascension Catholic lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA)
The Comets now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Academy of the Sacred Heart for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. St. Charles Catholic will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-5.
