August 31, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70118 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Ursuline Academy Lions (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA), saw Ursuline Academy's volleyball squad beat St. Charles Catholic by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Ursuline Academy upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Lions host Central Private (Baker, LA) to play the Redhawks in a non-league bout on Friday, September 1. The Redhawks go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Central Private won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Port Allen (Port Allen, LA)
The Comets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to East St. John for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5.
