September 13, 2023: Marrero, LA 70072 Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Ursuline Academy Lions (New Orleans, LA), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Penguins clash with the Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 18. Academy of Our Lady will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the match with a 6-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA).
With the loss, Ursuline Academy drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA) to clash with the Saints in a non-league match on Friday, September 15.
