The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) and the visiting Weeki Wachee Hornets (Weeki Wachee, FL), witnessed Central's football squad edge Weeki Wachee by a tally of 15-14.

The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Umatilla (Umatilla, FL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Umatilla was nudged by Crystal River (Crystal River, FL), 21-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Hornets confront the Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 20. Weeki Wachee will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Sharks enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 59-0 non-league loss to Gulf (New Port Richey, FL).
